Guest Speakers who attended from Hope The Mission Tiny Homes, Shelters, and Family Shelter sites

Eli, Caroletta, and their son Leonidas (The Woodlands Family Shelter) Mo & Ruben (Chandler Tiny Homes) and Leo (Trebek Shelter) share their personal stories of how they became homeless and what Art of Xpression Music and Arts Wellness Programs have done to help them. 

Feature Guest Speaker: Eli - Assisted with Art Program in Summershine Summer Camp for Youth as a Junior Program Instructor Volunteer to be upstreamed to future staff

BOARD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS:

PROGRAMS & EXPANSION for 2024 

• Current Programs: Youth: music, arts, writing, and theatre programs, Adults: Soundscapes of Hope Wellness Musicians: performances during lunches and dinners, film screenings, Village Voices Newsletter, and podcast interview ideas. Clear communication to partners and sites, provide calendar of events and programs with dates and times offered 
• Discussed running budget, team’s resources, contacts, financial means of fundraising and plans for acquiring future donors
• Future: Create a give away Fine Arts Revolution supplies line for those experiencing homelessness: shirts, sweatshirts, hats, socks, coffee and water jugs, chairs, blankets, sleeping bags, umbrellas (seasonal), and instruments. Expand programs for Adults and Youth to more regularity, Soundscapes of Hope Wellness Musicians will perform 1-3 times a week / 4-6 times a month at various tiny homes, shelters, family shelters, and at meal provider spaces to provide peace and soul to the day as a wellness experience, more Adult art and writing program projects, convert Summershine Summer Camp to a weekly after school program  

FINANCE 

The financial backing to

come from Government Grants, Private Donors and Specified Grants

In partnership as a contracted wellness program provider to offer a multitude of creative assistance. 

UNHOUSED YOUTH PROGRAM

Breakdown of Summershine Summer Music Arts Theatre Dance Tutoring Camp for Youth at a family shelters ran weekly staff and supplies - Converting it into a weekly after school program during the year 

**Bridge with Young Adults, Junior Wellness Instructor Staff

Fall-Winter-Spring 7wk Sessions: 

Mondays 3-5pm

ADULT MUSIC ARTS CREATIVE WELLNESS PROGRAMS 

Breakdown of Wellness Programs for Adults: musicians, transport, Music and Art supplies, Increase Programs and Workshops
